Picturesque Northampton in western Massachusetts is home to the Pioneer Valley’s only commercial climbing wall, located in the 25,000 square ft. Northampton Athletic Club. NAC was one of the first walls Rockwerx built in New England and an outstanding example of the successful operation of a climbing program in a major fitness facility.
Northampton Athletic Club introduces new climbers to 40 foot walls and a proud bouldering prow, with new routes weekly, and a professional instruction and coaching staff. The facility has been host to numerous climbing competitions, and helped train expert climbers who compete on the national stage. NAC itself also offers a wide array of fitness and sports equipment and facilities, and a café and juice bar.
