SPORTROCK STERLING
Sportrock Sterling is a state-of-the-art commercial climbing gym built in 2001 in Northern, Virginia. After the success of Sportrock’s first facility in Alexandria, Virginia, Sportrock built Sterling with the concept of creating another great climbing and gym for climbers of all abilities offering more climbing terrain overall and expansive bouldering.
Sportrock Sterling serves the Northern, Virginia and Washington, DC metro areas and has introduced many youth and families in suburban areas to rock climbing. This facility has an excellent layout, with an open and welcoming front entry area, and easy access to expansive bouldering or route climbing. The bouldering area has terrain of all types, with vertical, slightly overhanging, and very steep terrain, and even a huge stalactite hanging only a few feet off the ground!
Sportrock Alexandria offers:
- 12,000 square feet of total climbing terrain
- 2,000 + square feet of bouldering with a unique “stalactite” feature
- Heights up to 45 feet
- Yoga classes offered multiple times per week
- 1 Private Party Room and 2 Private Training Rooms
